In order to apply for an in-game GM position, you must have played Starlite RO for at least 5 days so that you know where most of the NPCs are.
It is also important to be friendly with most/all of the players and know what the server has to offer; hence, we require all applicants to play Starlite for at least five days.
The chosen few will have a trial in-game GM account at first to test their abilities as a Game Master.
After the Administrator has decided, the individuals may or may not have a permanent GM account.
You must be able to follow orders, remember the rules of the server, and make a good contribution to the server. Do not argue with the Administrators/Head GM unless it is really reasonable.
If you are going on a trip or will be busy (during your Trial GM time or actual GM time), please inform a higher-up about your situation so that we don't assume you are missing/quitting.
Do not flame anyone if you are not selected as there is competition for these positions; however, we do hope that you will still stay with us even if you are not a GM candidate.
We are currently not hiring Event GMs as we have enough at the moment. The positions needed are listed below in one of the questions.
If you are applying for a police position, you must know all of the in-game and forum rules. You have to have a good understanding of PvP and WoE as well.
For a Player Relations position, you must be able to look at situations calmly without biasm. You must be able to hear both sides of the story attentively and think a solution out logically and reasonably.
Do not be angry at any players unless they have truly broken an important rule of the server. Keep your calm at all times if possible. You must be friendly (and hopefully well-known by the players) in order to apply for this position.
