Before posting your problem.

If you have a problem connecting to the server, sprite errors, client problems, and so forth. Please read this before posting a new thread on the problem you are experiencing.
For client errors:

Are you using the latest files?
Please make sure you always use the newest files provided on our website, found in our Downloads forum. The download forum can be found here: http://www.starlite-ro.ucoz.com/forum/5

Are you making a CLEAN install, or patching over an OLD SERVER?
This causes a TON of problems for our new players. When you join the server, please do NOT just dump our server files into an old Ragnarok Online installation. Doing so can cause conflicts with other files, you may have files we don't have, or you may be using a different version than we are. Always download directly from our website, and make a clean install.

Example:
Do NOT take the new files and drop them into an old server you played on.
Dropping them into a folder such as C:\Program Files\Gravity\BlahRO would be using an old server.

Instead:
Make a CLEAN install of kRO and Sakray using THE FILES WE PROVIDE. Install them somewhere such as:
C:\Program Files\Gravity\StarliteRO
Then drop the patch files into the folder, replace existing files, and you should be fine!

These problems occur often, remember, a clean install should have no uneeded files or whatnot! Clean installations are most likely to work while an overwrite of a previous server can cause problems over half the time.

For server issues:

I cannot connect to the server! Help!
Is the server up? Post about it in the chat box. Maybe the server is down. Check http://www.starlite-ro.com/cp to see if anyone else is on. If people are on, it is a problem for you, if NO ONE is on, most likely we have a server issue, or we are updating.

If you are having problems connecting to our server only:
Check to see if your firewall or antivirus/protection software allows StarliteRO to access the Internet. This is different for almost everyone.

Sprite Errors:
When posting these, please try and describe to us in as much detail as possible what exactly occured when you errored and the game crashed. It helps us narrow down what may be the problem.

Other/I don't know what kind of error:
Post a message and we will get back and try to help you when we are available. Remember, we all live busy lives and do not spend 20+ hours a day on the website, looking for problems. We will address it when we check the forums, and hope to help you as fast as possible.
